Professional Development Events Chair of NSBE Boston Professionals
National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Boston Professionals is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization non-profit organization dedicated to the academic & professional success of Black/African American engineering students and professionals.
As the Professional Development Events Chair, I work with corporate partners to host unique monthly events to support the professional and technical skill advancement of 200+ members and non-members. Below are photos of one of my favorite events, the "Women in STEM Empowerment Brunch." At this event 40 women of varying academic backgrounds who ranged from graduating college seniors to experienced professionals, gathered during Women's History Month to discuss their current careers and professional goals, and found support and empowerment in one another.

Program Associate of the African American Institute at Northeastern University
The John D. O'Bryant African American Institute has always been "committed to intellectually, culturally, and socially inspiring students toward excellence, success, and service [and to] engaging the broader university community, the surrounding urban community, and the world for balanced student and leadership development."
As a Program Associate, I helped planned in-person and virtual programs, strategizing ways to increase student engagement and ensuring adherence to COVID-19 policies. Below are flyers of events I created, highlighting the unique nature of each event.
